ABOUT THIS BOOK:
The Carpenter’s Kids® curriculum is more than 800 pages of information and ideas for teaching preschoolers.  The curriculum comes shrink-wrapped inside a three ring binder.  The curriculum is a ten-month program divided into forty-two (42) weeks that can be taught consecutively or at an individual pace.  Each month includes lessons that integrate the shape, letters, colors, and themes.  The program also provides suggestions for teaching (26) letters, (8) shapes, (12) colors, (26) Bible stories, numbers, beginner Spanish, sign language (finger alphabet), body parts, music, poetry, and more.  There are (12) thematic units including topics such as Apples, Manners, Weather, The Five Senses, All About Me, Seasonal Holidays, Safety, Circus, and the Ocean.  Also included are Biblical lessons on Christmas, Easter, The Fruits of the Spirit, and God’s Love.  

Each Bible lesson provides objectives, scripture references, Bible verses, a synopsis of the story, and ideas for reading, crafts, centers, activities, music, snacks etc.  The stories include: 

In each lesson, there are ideas for centers, crafts, snacks, activities, field trips and suggestive reading.  It shares ideas on how to introduce and develop social, creative, communication, and gross and fine motor skills. 

The notebook also includes:

• A Material List at the end of each lesson

• A forty-two (42) week yearly calendar

• Ten (10) monthly calendars

• Ten (10) Parent/Child Activity Calendars

• A Child Assessment

• Music and poetry for themes, colors, and shapes

• An End-of-the-Year Review section
